Update #2 [Tue 18th Feb 2025, 6am]: Following the news EVO 2025 would be running an “extended lineup” of tournaments featuring various other fighting games, the final roster for this has now been confirmed.

Joining the existing five games will be Samurai Shodown, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, and Capcom vs. SNK 2. The event will take place between 1st – 3rd August this year.

This follows Capcom’s news earlier this month – confirming Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (featuring Capcom vs. SNK 2) would be arriving on Switch and multiple other platforms this May.
